On the surgical technique of complete rectal prolapse, a simple and safe procedure<br>should be choosen to the older or debilitated patients.<br>The Takano's plication method has been using vertical fixation method of the<br>prolapsed rectum, for the Prevention of recurrence, the mucosa is cauterized along the<br>suturing lines beforehand.<br>As a Primary operation for complete rectal prolapse, Takano's plication operation was<br>performed on 3 acted patients. There no postoperative complication and recurrence in 2<br>cases.<br>I experienced good result with Takano's method, which is simple but effective, can be<br>worthy of the aged complete rectal prolapse.<br>
